I-ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIONS OF UNITS TO FORM THE 92D FIELD ARTIL
LERY REGIMENT UNDER THE US ARMY REGIMENTAL SYSTEM (USARS).
1. The 92d Field Artillery regiment is WITHDRAWN from the Combat Arms Regimental System and REORGANIZED under the US Army Regimental System, effective 1 July 1986.

2. HHB, 1st Bn, 92d Field Artillery, UIC: WA2NAA will be REORGANIZED and REDESIGNATED as Btry A, 92d Field Artillery, UIC: WA2NAA under MTOE 6-395JFC78, FC2085 with the following strengths: STSTR: 35 OFF, 2 WO, 541 ENL, 578 AGG-AUSTR: 35 OFF, 2 WO, 541 ENL, 578 AGG and re­mains ASSIGNED to the 2d Armored Division at Fort Hood, TX, effective 1 July 1986.

3. The remaining organic batteries of the 1st Bn, 92d Field Artillery will be IN­ ACTIVATED effective 1 July 1986.

II-ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIONS OF UNITS TO FORM THE 6TH CA VALRY REGIMENT UNDER THE US ARMY REGIMENTAL SYSTEM: (USARS).
1. The 6th Cavalry regiment is WITHDRAWN from the Combat Arms Regimental System and REORGANIZED under the US Army Regimental System, effective 16 July 1986. The 1st Bn, UIC: WG2UAA remains ASSIGNED to the III Corps at Fort Hood, TX.

2. The 4th Sqdn, 9th Cavalry, UIC: WHOVAA will be INACTIVATED under MTOE 1-385JFC06, FC1086 at Fort Hood, TX, effective 16 July 1986. The 2d Sqdn, 6th Cavalry, UIC: WG2VAA will be ACTIVATED and ASSIGNED to the III Corps at Fort Hood, TX under MTOE 1-385JFC06, FC1086 with the following
strengths: STSTR: 25 OFF, 52 WO, 201 ENL, 278 AGG-AUSTR: 25 OFF, 46 WO, 196 ENL, 267 AGG, effective 16 July 1986.

3. The 7th Sqdn, 17th Cavalry, UIC: WAZNAA will be INACTIVATED at Fort Hood, TX under MTOE 1-385JFC06, FC2086, effective 16 July 1986. The 3d Sqdn, 6th Cavalry, UIC: WG2WAA will be ACTIVATED and ASSIGNED to the III Corps at Fort Hood, TX under MTOE 1-385JFC06, FC2086 with the following strengths: STSTR: 25 OFF, 46 WO, 196 ENL, 267 AGG-AUSTR: 25 OFF, 46 WO, 196 ENL, 267 AGG, effective 16 July 1986.

III-ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIONS OF UNITS TO FORM THE 22D INFANTRY REGIMENT UNDER THE US ARMY REGIMENTAL SYSTEM (USARS).
1. The 22d Infantry regiment is WITHDRAWN from the Combat Arms Regimental Sys­

tern and REORGANIZED under the US Army Regimental System, effective 16 July 1986. The 1st Bn, UIC: WAKKAA remains ASSIGNED to the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY.

2. The 2d Bn, 22d Infantry, UIC: WAKLAA will be ACTIVATED and ASSIGNED to the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY under MTOE 7-15JFC10, FC2186 with the following strengths: STSTR: 34 OFF, 1 WO, 535 ENL, 570 AGG-AUSTR: 34 OFF, 1 WO, 535 ENL, 570 AGG, effective 1 September 1986.

3. The 1st Bn, 19th Infantry, UIC: WAQCAA will be INACTIVATED under MTOE 7 -15JP125, P18786 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, effective 16 July 1986. The 3d Bn, 22d Infantry, UIC: WFK8AA will be ACTIVATED and ASSIGNED to the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii under MTOE 7 -15JP125, P18786 with the following strengths: STSTR: 34 OFF, 1 WO, 506 ENL, 541 AGG-AUSTR: 34 OFF, 1 WO, 506 ENL, 541 AGG, effective 16 July 1986.

4. The 4th Bn, 22nd Infantry, UIC: WERCAA will be ACTIVATED and ASSIGNED to the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii under MTOE 7 -15JP125, Pll086 with the following strengths: STSTR: 34 OFF, 1 WO, 524 ENL, 559 AGG-AUSTR: 34 OFF, 1 WO, 524 ENL, 559 AGG, effective
17 November 1986.

IV-ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT, THE CHAPLAINS BRANCH AND MILITAR Y INTELLIGENCE AS REGIMENTS IN THE US ARMY REGIMENTAL SYSTEM (USARS). Paragraph 1, Department of the Army General Orders No. 24, 30 May 1986 pertaining to the establishment of the Army Medical Department Corps is RESCINDED and the following substituted thereafter:

"1. For purposes of the US Army Regimental System, the Army Medical Department is established as the Army Medical Department Regiment. The Army Medical Department Regiment is placed under the US Army Regimental System effective 27 July 1986. The home of the Army Medical Department Regiment is ESTABLISHED at Fort Sam Houston. Texas."
